Gary has been a Residential and Commercial Designer for over 44 years. Trained in Chelan Sur Sans, France and is one of only a hand full of designers remaining who draw plans by hand.
Gary won “Most Innovative Showroom Designer” in 2017 in an international competition.
Having taken a “How to Sketch” class at the Schack Art Center little less than, 3 years ago he was completely hooked, and spends most of his free time with a pencil and paper. Gary can often be found at Port Gardner Bay Winery’s “Open Mic Night” Music makes the pencil work, and the atmosphere is perfect for creating.
His drawings are mostly animals. His focus has been on learning more realism. He doesn’t see himself as an artist but as a designer without a straight edge and a student. Each of his sketches are only a steppingstone in the path to the more realistic drawing. He truly hopes you enjoy his sketches.
