Port Gardner Bay Winery & Art Gallery

If you like to blend social interactions with your enjoyment of a nice glass of wine, there’s some great ways to do so in Everett, and even meet the producers of your vino.

Chris and Linnea Covington, who own and operate Port Gardner Bay Winery and Art Gallery in downtown Everett, have created a cultural hub on Rucker Avenue for your charity gatherings, music nights and art openings, as well as a cozy space for wine tastings.

“It’s more of a passion than anything else,” says Chris, who operates his structural engineering firm by day in the same building. He enjoys connecting with local people who have similar cultural interests: “We have regular clients that come in, drink the wine, listen to the music and have some fun.” (Photo Heraldnet.com)

There’s plenty of varietals to choose from on the wine list, and a selection of flavorful food items on the menu. And with live music scheduled every Thursday (open mic), Friday and Saturday evening, it’s a great way to unwind at the end of the week. And you’re surrounded by artwork from a variety of local artists.

The Art Gallery is a proud partner of the Everett Art Walk, every third Thursday. Linnea adds that the winery is a place anyone can feel comfortable, singles, couples or groups. “It’s also a great place for a first date!”
